Logistics

One platform for warehousing, shipping, track & trace, and client billing — modular, integrated, built on the Microsoft standard. You gain speed and transparency without having to scale your organization at the same pace.

Logistics

Black Friday arrives, traffic spikes — and suddenly your inventory numbers no longer add up. With Business Central and dicobis.commerce, your web store, marketplaces, and brick-and-mortar stores all see the same available stock in real time. Overselling and out-of-stock situations are avoided without anyone manually reconciling systems.

Microsoft Business Central for E-Commerce and Logistics Providers

When orders, inventory, shipping, and finance are stuck in separate tools, you get duplicate work, errors, and blind spots. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central brings purchasing, warehousing, sales, accounting, and reporting into one cloud system that keeps pace with your growth. dicobis adds preconfigured industry solutions on top and takes the project to go-live with a standardized approach.

FAQ

How long does a typical project with dicobis take?
From kick-off to go-live, we work within a standard timebox of nine months — structured into five phases with fixed milestones. In special cases, the range can be between seven and twelve months. The date is set in the contract before we touch the first configuration.
Which systems can be connected?
Through our own REST API platform dicobis.connect, we connect shop systems (Shopify, Shopware), marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Otto, ChannelEngine), payment providers, fulfillment partners, POS systems, CRM and HR systems. Typical scale in e-commerce settings: 15 to 25 interfaces per project. Which connections offer leverage in your setup is something we clarify in the assessment session.
Is your quick assessment really free?
Yes — a free, no-obligation initial conversation. You receive a written evaluation of effort, risks, and next steps — not a sales presentation. If the conclusion is “not now,” we say so.
What do we need to provide internally?
For the quick assessment: about 60 minutes, ideally with management and IT/project leads together, plus an overview of your current system landscape. For a running project: a part-time project manager, key users per department, and IT leads for interfaces, migration, and cut-over. You receive a precise person-day indication after the phasing-in stage — well-founded, not guessed.
What happens if an issue threatens the go-live date?
There are two paths: the issue goes to the steering committee for a decision — or it moves transparently into Scope 2 and is delivered after go-live. What we never do: silently push the date.
